Newly-promoted Frosinone are said to be in talks with Uruguayan striker Joaquin Ardaiz, who spent last season at Royal Antwerp.
The 19-year-old centre-forward is still owned by Uruguayan club Tanque Sisley.
He scored five goals with three assists in 23 competitive appearances during the loan spell in Belgium.
Above all, he impressed for Uruguay at Under-20 level, scoring four goals in 19 caps as they won the 2017 South American Championship.
According to Sky Sport Italia, Frosinone met with his agent and proposed another loan deal.
They face competition from MLS, where there are clubs prepared to buy Ardaiz outright.
It’s not the first time he has been linked with Serie A, as there was interest from Fiorentina.
