Juventus have officially sent Italy Under-21 international striker Alberto Cerri to Cagliari, on loan with obligation to buy.
He put pen to paper on a contract that runs to June 2023, although Juve are believed to retain a buy-back option.
It is a return to Sardinia for the 22-year-old, who already scored three goals in 24 appearances in 2015-16.
He spent last season on loan with Perugia in Serie B, finding the net 15 times with 10 assists in 33 games.
Cerri’s other clubs include SPAL, Pescara and Parma.
