Jorge Mendes’ agency has threatened those behind ‘false Press releases’, seemingly involving Cristiano Ronaldo and Juventus, with ‘criminal prosecution’.
According to Calciomercato.it, the statement on Gestifute’s official website comes after it was reported Ronaldo would live in the middle of Turin following his €105m arrival from Real Madrid.

According to Calciomercato.it, the statement on Gestifute’s official website comes after it was reported Ronaldo would live in the middle of Turin following his €105m arrival from Real Madrid.
“We have learned that someone in bad faith is using the names of Gestifute and Jorge Mendes to send false Press releases to various publications in Spain and Italy,” it read.
“Sending information in this manner is not Gestifute’s practice, given our website is our only official line of communication.
“The above practice is of a criminal nature and will be the subject of a complaint, with a view to the identification and criminal prosecution of the respective authors.”
