If Alisson Becker does leave for Chelsea or Liverpool, then Roma could turn to Milan goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma.
The reports are spreading that Alisson could be allowed to depart for an offer of €70m and Liverpool are leading the race.
According to Goal.com, agent Mino Raiola has suggested Donnarumma as a potential heir to the Brazilian at the Stadio Olimpico.
Raiola has already worked out several deals with Roma, including Justin Kluivert from Ajax.
Milan’s Financial Fair Play issues and the fact President Yonghong Li defaulted on his debt, effectively allowing hedge fund Elliott Management to take over, leaves them in a tricky situation.
Pepe Reina has already been signed as a free agent from Napoli and with the club excluded from the Europa League, two top class goalkeepers would be a waste.
Other alternatives for Roma could include Paris Saint-Germain shot-stopper Alphonse Areola.
