Ivan Perisic is feeling confident about the new season with Inter but admits the club ‘need more’ to compete in the Champions League.
Perisic helped Inter end a seven-year absence from the Champions League last term, and the Croatia winger will return to San Siro as a World Cup runner-up.
“I’ve only thought about Croatia until now,” he said after Sunday’s Final, which France won 4-2.
“Now I’ll go on holiday and then my season will start. I hope to do good things.
“I’m a World Cup runner-up, but in order to win things, we need a lot of players.
“We need the team [to pull together] and we need more this season because we’re playing in the Champions League.
“I send my best wishes to all the lads who have already started working.”
