Maurizio Sarri admits ‘I would give up all my possessions to win something with Chelsea’ as he wants the club to ‘enjoy’ themselves.

“Guardiola’s praise? Guardiola is principally a friend so I think he has spoken well about me for this motive.
“I think it’s very difficult to describe myself. I want to say that first of all, I love the game, I love football and all the rest is a consequence.
“I want to enjoy myself. The players have to enjoy themselves but first of all I hope the fans can enjoy the team.
“Preseason? In this period we have to play, we have to work very hard. So for the first game, I think the result isn’t very important. We have to try to do our best.
“Passions? Football is my first, I like very much to read novels, I like some writers very much, the last one I loved was Vargas Llosa.
“Working as a banker? I think it helped me for the organisation of my work. I think after that experience, I’m better when I have to organise all my jobs.
“London? Sure, but I am here for football, Chelsea. I want to play at Stamford Bridge, so London is a wonderful city but I’m here for Chelsea.
