Valencia have officially signed former Italy Under-21 right-back Cristiano Piccini from Sporting CP for a reported €8m.
The deal was confirmed in a video on Valencia’s official Twitter account, although only tattoos gave away his identity.
His contract with Los Che has also yet to be disclosed, while Tuttomercatoweb claims Sporting received €10m for the 25-year-old.

Piccini, who began his career at Fiorentina, made 40 appearances for Sporting last season, but the Portuguese side have been hit by departures after their training ground came under attack by masked thugs.
It marks a return to Spain for the Italian, having spent three years with Real Betis, while he was also linked with Roma and Inter.
