Italy have reached the final of the Under-19 European Championships with a 2-0 win over France in Helsinki.

The Azzurrini took the lead after 27 minutes thanks to Christian Capone, who opened the scoring with a fine near post fish.

Three minutes later Nicolò Zaniolo’s fine pass found Moise Kean in the box, and the Juventus striker made no mistake as he smashed it home.

Italy will now face Portugal in Seinajoki for the final on Saturday, having already beaten them 3-2 in the group stage.
