Luciano Spalletti has confirmed that Inter ‘like’ Sime Vrsaljko, amidst speculation the Nerazzurri are close to signing the Atletico Madrid full-back.
Inter are thought to be on the verge of a €25m deal for Vrsajlko, and Spalletti made it clear the Croatian’s versatility appealed to his club.
“The directors are working, certain things will be defined once our preparations begin, when our squad is more settled,” he told Calciomercato.com.

“As more days pass and we approach the deadline, the situations change. We like Vrsaljko, there are players who will cover more than one role because we’ll play three games a week.”
Spalletti was also quizzed about Bayern Munich midfielder Arturo Vidal.
“Last year you said we had too little, but it was enough,” added the Coach.
“This year, even though we’ve already worked [in the market], we need to do more, given our commitments.
“Vidal? I don’t know the names, but we must have players who can cover more than one position.
“We’re working on the pitch, so Ausilio and Gardini are thinking about it. You also know the positions we need covering.”
