Juventus defender Mattia Caldara is the subject of a €40m bid from Chelsea, according to multiple reports.
The Bianconeri met the English side yesterday to discuss Gonzalo Higuain and Daniele Rugani, but their €60m and €55m price tags proved too much for the Blues.
Instead reports Corriere della Sera, Chelsea have submitted a €40m bid for Mattia Caldara.
Corriere dello Sport is in agreement, while stating that Juve want around €50m and a deal could be found for €45m.
That would change negotiations with Milan, who had wanted Caldara in exchange for Leonardo Bonucci.
Corriere dello Sport believes the Bianconeri now want Bonucci plus €30m, for which they’d send Higuain to San Siro.
