SPAL announce that defender Francesco Vicari has signed a new contract until 2022.
The 23-year-old has been a key performer for the Biancazzurri since joining the club two years ago.
In his first season in Ferrara, he helped Leonardo Semplici’s team win the Serie B title, securing promotion to the top tier of Italian football for the first time in almost half a century.
Last campaign, he was an integral part of SPAL’s successful battle to avoid relegation.
