Bayern Munich midfielder Arturo Vidal is expected in Italy to sign for Inter before the end of this week.
The Nerazzurri are on the verge of completing a deal for the Chilean, on loan with an option to buy.
The Bavarian club will extend Vidal’s contract for a further year before allowing him to go on loan to the Beneamata, with the total cost of the deal expected to be around €22m.
A large part of that will be made up of the loan, as there has to be a significant incentive for Inter to make the deal permanent, effectively if not legally turning it into an obligation to buy.
According to FCInterNews, Vidal has agreed a three-year deal worth €4.5m per season plus bonuses.
The website believes that the former Juve man will be in Italy before Saturday, though some of his medical could be done in Munich.
