Juventus confirm Leonardo Bonucci's signing in a swap deal with Mattia Caldara, while Gonzalo Higuain leaves on an €18m loan with €36m option to buy.
The former Rossoneri captain moves back to the Serie A champions as part of the ‘mega-deal’ between the Old Lady and the Rossoneri, with Caldara and Higuain moving in the opposite direction.
The Italy centre-back passed a medical with the Bianconeri this morning and now links back up with Max Allegri’s team.
And the 31-year-old now resumes his Juve career, with his previous spell having last seven years.
"Juventus Football Club S.p.A announces that these agreements have been finalised with AC Milan S.p.A," the Old Lady's official statement begins.
"Temporary transfer of the registration rights of the player Gonzalo Higuain for a consideration of €18m, to be paid in the 2018-19 financial year.
"The agreement also provides AC Milan with the option, to be exercised at the end of the 2018-19 financial year for the definitive acquisition of the player at a price of €36m to be paid in two financial years.
"Definitive acquisition of the player Leonardo Bonucci for a consideration €35m, payable in two financial years. Juventus and the player have signed a five-year contract of employment until June 30 2023.
"Definitive disposal of the registration rights of the player Mattia Caldara for a consideration €35m, payable in two financial years. The economic effect is positive for around €22m."
