Leicester City defender Yohan Benalouane has reflected on his ‘unforgettable time’ at Parma. “I had my two most beautiful years there.”
Benalouane spent two years at Parma between 2012 and 2014, helping the Gialloblu finish in the top half of Serie A, and the Tunisian could leave Leicester before the Italian deadline next Friday.
“I had an unforgettable time there. It was my home,” the 31-year-old told Gazzetta dello Sport.
“How can I forget Udinese and my clashes with Toto Di Natale, a champion? My memories of Italy mainly lie with Parma, where I had my two most beautiful years.
“I still hear from [Alessandro] Lucarelli, [Jonathan] Biabiany, [Fabiano] Santacroce… I’ve never lost contact with my friends there.
“I hope Parma stay up after doing something incredible these last few years.”
