Real Betis are offering a lifeline to Inter outcast Joao Mario, prepared to take him on loan with option to buy at the end of the season.
The 25-year-old Portugal international struggled after his €40m move from Sporting CP in the summer of 2016.
He was loaned to West Ham United in January and had hoped to remain in England, but the Premier League transfer window has now shut.
According to Sportitalia, Joao Mario could be heading to Spain for Real Betis, who are ready to take him on a paid loan with option to buy at the end of the season.
Inter are still pushing for a pledge to make the switch permanent in 2019, but run the serious risk of being stuck with him.
