Sporting CP have announced Stefano Sturaro will join them on loan, but remain at Juventus for a couple of months due to injury.
The deal had been expected earlier today, but was postponed after an issue was discovered during his medical.
It is not considered serious enough to terminate the transfer, but Sturaro will stay in Turin for two months during the rehabilitation process.
This was confirmed via an announcement on the Portuguese side’s official website.
Juventus will also pay for Sturaro’s salary during the recuperation period.
He will move to Lisbon only after he has been passed fully fit.
