Monaco winger Keita Balde Diao will have his Inter medical tomorrow after agreeing a €5m loan with €34m option to buy.
According to Sky Sport Italia, the Senegal international will be in Milan late tonight and undergo his tests on Monday.
The deal has been worked out after Monaco Vice-President Vadim Vasilyev confirmed advanced talks.
“Yes, we are negotiating with the Nerazzurri,” Vasilyev told beIN Sports France.
“There are still some details to be whittled down, so I can’t say the deal is done, but we are on the right track.”
It seems that over the last few hours, those final details were sorted out and Keita is on his way.
It is a return to Serie A for Keita, who left Lazio only a year ago.
