Fiorentina have officially signed Switzerland midfielder Edimilson Fernandes from West Ham United.
A statement on Fiorentina’s website confirms Edimilson has joined on a season-long loan with an option to buy.
Reports suggest the Viola have paid €1m for the loan and secured an €8m purchase option next summer.
West Ham paid €6.4m to sign the 22-year-old in the summer of 2016, but he made just 48 appearances over two seasons.
He is the cousin of former Chievo and Udinese man Gelson Fernandes.
