Sampdoria have officially signed defender Lorenzo Tonelli from Napoli on a season-long loan.
Lega Serie A’s website confirmed Tonelli’s contract had been deposited by Samp, while Transfermarkt notes they have paid €500,000 to take him for the season.
Previous reports suggest the Blucerchiati have included an option to buy for the 28-year-old, who played just nine times in two seasons with Napoli.
