Arsenal chief executive Ivan Gazidis is still to decide whether to accept an offer from Milan, according to reports in England.
The South African businessman is wanted by new owners Elliott Management to take over the day-to-day running of the club, as President Paolo Scaroni is only filling in after the takeover.
According to The Telegraph, there is an offer on the table of €3.9m per year from the Rossoneri, a significant upgrade on his salary in England.
While the Gunners expect him to accept the Italian offer, the newspaper believes a final decision hasn’t been taken.
Gazidis wants assurances that Elliott will invest enough to compete with the top sides in Serie A, as he fears Arsenal are a step behind the Premier League elite.
