Chievo midfielder Perparim Hetemaj is out for at least a couple of weeks after fracturing a rib during the 6-1 defeat to Fiorentina.
The 31-year-old went off at half-time at the Stadio Franchi following a collision and seemed to be sore.
He went to hospital for X-Rays and was diagnosed with the fracture of the ninth rib on the left side of his torso.
Although his progress will be evaluated, a statement from the club’s medical staff noted Hetemaj is “likely to return after the break for international duty on September 8-9.”
