Agent Andrea D’Amico also confirmed to Agenti Anonimi that “we are sorting out the final details” with Ibiza.

Borriello turned 36 in June and is out of contract after his time at SPAL.

He is remarkably well-travelled, playing for Treviso, Triestina, Empoli, Reggina, Sampdoria, Roma, Milan, Genoa, Juventus, Carpi, Atalanta and SPAL.

It’ll be Borriello’s second venture outside Italy after West Ham United in 2014.

Considering his reputation as one of Serie A's greatest partiers, it is arguably the ideal destination for him to play in Ibiza.
