Leonardo and Paolo Maldini are handling the football side of things, with Paolo Scaroni installed as President.

However, the former Eni CEO doesn’t want to be involved long-term, so Umberto Gandini and Ivan Gazidis have been asked to take over the business side.

According to today’s Gazzetta dello Sport, Arsenal chief executive Gazidis is likely to accept the offer, but it could take some time to extricate himself from the London club.

Therefore Gandini could work alone initially.

In addition, club legend Kaka is expected to arrive today to begin what is essentially an apprenticeship with the club, working at both Milanello and Casa Milan.

Gazzetta believes that a career in scouting may suit the Brazilian, who wants to be able to work in his homeland at least some of the year.
