“We are all happy, as it was a very important game and we got the win,” he told Sky Sport Italia of the 3-0 victory.

“It wasn’t the first time I played as a centre-forward, and admittedly it’s not my main position, but if the team and the Coach need me to do it, I have no problem with that. The important thing is to give 100 per cent every time.

“I tried to stretch out the Bologna defenders. I feel good physically and think over the next couple of weeks I’ll reach peak fitness.”

Former Lazio star Keita returned to Serie A after just one season at Monaco.

“It was a very helpful experience for me and I got to play in the Champions League too. I like travelling the world and discovering other leagues, but I am back in Italy now, a place I know very well, and I am happy.”
