Udinese have officially announced that Samir has renewed his contract, tying him down until 2023.
The Brazilian centre-back joined the Zebrette from Flamengo, and after a loan spell at Verona has become a mainstay of the backline.
“Samir and Udinese go forward together,” a statement on the club’s website reads.
“General manager Franco Collavino and technical director Daniele Pradè announced the extension of the Brazilian defender Samir, who has reached 56 appearances with the Bianconeri.”
The contract has been extended to 2023.
