Sergej Milinkovic-Savic will reportedly sign a new contract with Lazio next week, earning €3m per season, but with no release clause.
The midfielder has been the subject of massive bids from the likes of Juventus, Paris Saint-Germain, Manchester United and Real Madrid.
However, he has decided to continue his development at the Stadio Olimpico.
According to the Corriere dello Sport newspaper, SMS will sign a new deal to June 2023, adding one year to his current contract.
The most significant change is the salary, which is raised to €3m per year plus performance-related bonuses.
Lazio had been expected to introduce a release clause in the region of €150m, but this latest report suggests there is no option other than to negotiate directly with President Claudio Lotito.
