Roma have reportedly put their team into a training retreat for the next week to prepare for crucial games against Frosinone and Lazio.
This is also a punitive decision following their embarrassing 2-0 defeat to strugglers Bologna this afternoon.
President James Pallotta told RomaPress.eu that he was “disgusted” by the performance.
Coach Eusebio Di Francesco blamed the players for their attitude, lacking “determination and fire in the belly.”
According to Sky Sport Italia, Ansa and other sources, the squad left Bologna and went straight back to the Trigoria training ground.
The players will remain there to train day and night in preparation for the next two Serie A matches.
They take on Frosinone on Wednesday evening, then Saturday’s Derby della Capitale against arch rivals Lazio.
