Inter have confirmed that Miranda missed Tuesday’s 2-1 win against Fiorentina with an ankle problem.
Miranda was initially called up for the visit of the Viola but did not even make the substitutes’ bench.
Explaining the defender’s absence, Inter tweeted: “Miranda will not be available to Luciano Spalletti as a precaution due to an inflammation in his left ankle.
“The Brazilian withdrew from our training camp before the team left and will be evaluated day by day.”
