It’s reported that Roma CEO Umberto Gandini’s departure will be announced tonight, and it’s possible he could return to Milan.
The director previously worked with the Rossoneri, but left in 2016 after the ill-fated takeover by Yonghong Li.
He has been linked with a return to San Siro to work alongside Ivan Gazidis, and Sky Italia expects that his departure will be announced tonight.
However, the outlet doesn’t expect him to immediately return to Milan, as he’ll assess his options before making a decision.
The news comes after it was reported that Franco Baldini has offered his resignation as a director, after being criticised in Francesco Totti’s autobiography.
