Andrea Pirlo, Alberto Gilardino, Paolo Montero, Thiago Motta and Gabriel Batistuta are among the new professional Coaches who got their badges today.
The FIGC Settore Tecnico course was completed today after several months and there are some very familiar faces in the class photo.
They include Italy World Cup winners Pirlo and Gilardino, plus Paolo Cannavaro – younger brother of Fabio – and Thiago Motta.
Daniele Bonera is still playing for Villarreal, but is all ready for the next step of his career as a Coach.
Former Fiorentina and Roma hero Batistuta was present, with ex-Milan defender Jose Antonio Chamot, fiery ex-Genoa midfielder Francelino Matuzalem and Juventus hard man Montero.
This certificate clears them to be a Coach of any youth team, women’s team and men’s sides up to Serie A.
They can also be assistant managers in Serie A and B clubs, but more study is needed before they can take Serie B or Serie A jobs.
