Former Italy CT Giampiero Ventura is reportedly the prime candidate to replace the beleaguered Moreno Longo at Frosinone.

Frosinone’s 2-1 defeat to Genoa on Sunday was their sixth in seven matches since returning to Serie A, and La Repubblica warns President Maurizio Stirpe is considering Longo’s position at the helm.

The newspaper explains that while the squad are ‘in ritiro’, Stirpe is studying Ventura’s possible appointment.
