Former Inter patron Massimo Moratti has reportedly turned down the chance to become FIGC President.
The businessman was put forward by several other club Presidents, most notably Juventus chief Andrea Agnelli.
However, according to Sportmediaset and La Repubblica, Moratti decided not to stand for election as head of the Italian Football Federation.
Now Gabriele Gravina – President of the Lega Pro/Serie C – is the only candidate.
The role of FIGC President has been vacant since Carlo Tavecchio stepped down in December.
