Kevin Lasagna is celebrating both his Italy call-up and a new contract with Udinese until 2023. “This day will live long in my memory.”
It has been a remarkable 24 hours for the striker, who was brought in to the Azzurri camp as a late replacement for injured Simone Zaza.
Udinese also announced he has signed a new contract to June 2023.
“This is certainly a day that will live long in my memory, with two huge shows of faith,” Lasagna told Udinese.it.

“On the one side, the Italy call-up is certainly credit to Udinese and the work I do here with the team. It is a reward for all the good things I’ve done with the colours, a dream I’ve had since childhood.
“The call from the Italy camp arrived early afternoon. I was in Mantova and immediately rushed to Udine to pick up my boots.
“On the other hand, the contract renewal that was already in the air for a few weeks, but arrived on this special day. I’ll struggle to get any sleep tonight.”
