Inter are the favourites to bring in Marotta, as they reportedly already had negotiations with the former Sampdoria executive.

Marotta oversaw perhaps the most successful period in Juventus history, going from mid-table to winning the Serie A title for seven years in a row.

Nonetheless, Marotta was pushed out and his mandate not renewed by President Andrea Agnelli, just days after he won the Best Executive award at the World Football Summit.
