Umberto Gandini’s decision to leave Roma is reportedly not linked to a return to Milan.
Gandini ended his two-year spell as Roma CEO on Thursday, amidst speculation that he was preparing for a second stint at Milan.
However, Gazzetta dello Sport assures Ivan Gazidis will be the only chief executive at San Siro after the latest round of talks between the pair.
As for his next move, Corriere dello Sport believes Gandini could become the next CEO of Lega Serie A, which is without a permanent President.
The newspaper explains the 58-year-old could be ‘the important personality and strong figure’ needed by the top flight.
