Genoa hotshot Krzysztof Piatek could reportedly leave the club in January but be loaned back for the rest of the season.
According to Gazzetta dello Sport, the solution would let Piatek join a top side, with the likes of Barcelona, Juventus, Borussia Dortmund and Bayern Munich linked.
On the other hand, Genoa would benefit from the Pole’s free-scoring ways until the end of the campaign, his goals firing the Grifone to within just two points of Serie A’s top six.
The 24-year-old took his tally for the season to 14 on Thursday during his country’s 3-2 Nations League defeat to Portugal.
Despite the Rossoblu winning four of their first seven League games, Coach Davide Ballardini was replaced by predecessor Ivan Juric earlier in the week.
