Former Inter President Massimo Moratti doesn’t fear the potential of a Juventus treble - “records are made to be beaten or equalled”.
The Nerazzurri won the Scudetto, the Coppa Italia and the Champions League in 2010, the first and so far only Italian club to achieve that feat.
Juve have gone close on two occasions, doing the domestic double in 2015 and 2017 before losing in the Champions League final.
With this summer’s signing of Cristiano Ronaldo, many pundits are suggesting this could be the year the Bianconeri finally win Europe’s biggest prize again.
“Why would I be afraid?” Moratti asked, speaking to reporters after the Festival dello Sport in Trento.
“Records are made to be beaten or equalled. It’s something that could happen, but for now it hasn’t happened.
“Right now they’re unreachable in the league, or at least I think they are. Right now it’s difficult to reach the Bianconeri’s level.”
