“It is important to feel that the fans love you and I always felt the affection my teammates and the supporters,” he told Lazio Style Radio.

“It is important to feel that the fans love you and I always felt the affection my teammates and the supporters,” he told Lazio Style Radio.
“Now I have to continue along this path, always giving something more. There’s more strength in depth in the Lazio squad now and there are many players who can contribute, both from the start and off the bench.
“It’s difficult for the Coach to choose a line-up, as there are so many eager to play, but that is the great thing about football.”
The Aquile went down to nine men and suffered a heavy defeat to Eintracht Frankfurt, but remain second in their Europa League group after beating Apollon Limassol.
“We’ve got a complicated Europa League group, but are called to give our all in order to achieve qualification. So far, we’ve only got one game wrong in Europe, but there are another four to go. Eintracht proved themselves to be a very disciplined and physical side.
“Now we must concentrate on Olympique Marseille, who we must beat at all costs. I get the feeling Eintracht Frankfurt are stronger than Marseille.
“There are strong teams in the tournament, like Arsenal and Chelsea. Last year, we went pretty far in this tournament and will now try to do even better.”
Lazio’s Serie A form also took a tumble with defeat to arch rivals Roma.
“Serie A is far more balanced now. Juventus are still up there, but straight after them are four or five teams that can be interesting protagonists throughout the campaign. The competition has certainly improved, there’s no doubt about it.”
