An intermediary insists talk of Milan sending Tiemoue Bakayoko back to Chelsea is ‘completely unfounded’ as the Rossoneri ‘believe’ in the midfielder.
It had been reported that Milan were giving up on Bakayoko, who has played just 80 minutes of Serie A football since arriving from Chelsea on loan, but Federico Pastorello made it clear the Frenchman was going nowhere in January.
“Bakayoko is happy at Milan and Milan are happy with him,” he told Calciomercato.com.
“We knew it would take some time, but everyone believes he can make a big contribution to the Rossoneri this season.
“Therefore, any rumours about his return to Chelsea in January are completely unfounded.”
