Udinese winger Rodrigo de Paul is reportedly on Napoli’s radar after his impressive start to the season.
According to Calciomercato.it, Napoli are ready to make their move for De Paul ahead of the Argentine ‘inflaming the transfer market’, which reopens in January.
The 24-year-old has already beaten his goal return from last season, scoring five times in Udinese’s first 10 Serie A games of the campaign.
“De Paul is liked by both Giuntoli and De Laurentiis but also many other teams, including Fiorentina,” the website quotes Zebrette President Franco Soldati as recently saying.
“We wanted to keep him and Fofana because they’re the two cornerstones of the new Udinese. It’ll be a while before there are developments on their futures.”
As well as Fiorentina, Calciomercato claims Inter and Milan are also monitoring the former Valencia attacker.
