Juventus are reportedly considering Fiorentina’s Nikola Milenkovic as an alternative to Matthijs de Ligt.

The Bianconeri are keen to sign a young centre-back as a long-term replacement for Andrea Barzagli, who will turn 38 in May.

De Ligt is believed to be their top target, though Ajax would demand around €50m to sell him and they’d face competition from other big European clubs.

Therefore, reports Tuttosport, the Bianconeri are also looking at 21-year-old Milenkovic.

The defender wouldn’t come cheaply, but it’s believed there’s more room for negotiation with the Viola.

While Fiorentina’s fans are staunchly anti-Juventus, the two clubs have done business in recent years, with Marko Pjaca moving to Florence this summer and Federico Bernardeschi going the other way in 2017.
