Gabigol has regained his form at Santos, scoring 16 goals in 30 League appearances for the Brazilian side, but he is due back at Inter in January and his future has yet to be decided.

“There’s a chance that I’ll stay at Santos, of course,” the striker, who has also been linked with Atletico Madrid, said at a Press conference.

“As far as I know, the President would like to keep me. There’s still a lot of time until January, so we have to focus on the games we have left and then we’ll talk about it again.

“I’m very happy, but I also have the dream of playing in Europe. It doesn’t depend on just me, there’s also Santos and Inter.

“It hasn’t been easy this season. Now it’s better that we wait until the last few games are played to resolve the situation.”
