Six Serie A players have been called-up to the Argentina squad to face Mexico, but Milan striker Gonzalo Higuain isn’t among them.
The Albiceleste face the Central American nation in a friendly later this month, and today Lionel Scaloni has named his squad for the fixture.
There’s a surprise call-up for Rodrigo De Paul of Udinese, as well as Fiorentina pair German Pezzella and Giovanni Simeone.
Inter’s Lautaro Martinez and Mauro Icardi are also included, as is Paulo Dybala of Juventus, but Milan’s Gonzalo Higuain has been left out.
