Ricardo Rodriguez feels Milan’s 1-1 draw with Betis was “the right result,” but the growing injury crisis is starting to worry him.

They were already missing the likes of Lucas Biglia – who will be out for four months – Mattia Caldara, Jack Bonaventura, Davide Calabria and Gonzalo Higuain.

Mateo Musacchio was stretchered off in a neck brace after a collision with teammate Franck Kessie and appeared to temporarily lose consciousness, while Hakan Calhanoglu hurt his ankle late on.

“Clearly, we were all scared. He is an important player, it hurts to see him like this, especially as we already had so many injuries. He’s strong, he’ll recover quickly,” Rodriguez told Sky Sport Italia.

“Betis did really well in the first half, we played better in the second, pressing them well and the equaliser was very important in the balance of the game. I think 1-1 was the right result.”

The Rossoneri used left-back Ricardo Rodriguez in a 3-5-2 formation this evening.

“It doesn’t matter where I play, I just want to do my best for the team. Now we have to keep improving. We know that we are a strong team, and when we are solid and work together, we do well.”
