FIGC President Gabriele Gravina has thrown his backing behind Italy CT Roberto Mancini. “His work is starting to yield important results.”

Mancini was appointed five months before Gravina was elected to lead the FIGC, but the new man at the helm made it clear he was fully supportive of the former Inter and Manchester City boss.

“Young players are the future, as are the promise and premises to achieve important objectives,” he told Il Sole 24.
