Coach Gigi Di Biagio insists he is “satisfied despite the result” after Italy’s Under-21 side lost 2-1 to England in a friendly.

Nicolò Zaniolo of Roma could’ve had a brace in the first two minutes at the Stadio Paolo Mazza in Ferrara, but instead Dominic Solanke was far more effective, scoring his only two real opportunities.

“We came up against a great England team,” Di Biagio told Rai Sport.
