The 18-year-old midfielder is expected to make his senior Italy debut in Tuesday’s friendly against the USA.

There is already a huge amount of attention around him thanks to his performances in Serie B and for the Under-21 side.

Tonali himself commented to Rai Sport after last night’s Italy game against Portugal that he would “prefer to stay in Italy” rather than move abroad.

This would seem to rule out Chelsea, Monaco and Manchester City.

Inter and Juventus are the favourites within Serie A, but the latest reports suggest the Bianconeri are looking elsewhere, as they already have Rodrigo Bentancur.

According to FCInterNews, the Nerazzurri are going full throttle for Tonali and have offered Brescia €15m plus bonuses.

It won’t be enough, as there had already been reports that Roma saw their bid of €12m plus €4m in bonuses turned down.

Brescia President Massimo Cellino has said he wants €25m for the teenage midfielder and is in no rush to sell.
