Lazio defender Francesco Acerbi isn’t putting too much store in Milan’s injury crisis - “we can’t underestimate them”.
The Rossoneri are without at least nine first team players due to injury or suspension, including captain Alessio Romagnoli and top-scorer Gonzalo Higuain.
“I’ve already talked about it with [Gigio] Donnarumma,” Acerbi told Sky ahead of Sunday’s match.
“The Rossoneri have some important players out with injury, but they still have great quality and they’ll definitely come to Rome to win.
“We can’t underestimate Milan, or we risk looking bad.”
Romangoli’s injury has seen Acerbi called-up to the Italy squad to replace him.
“I work hard for myself as well as the team I play for. I always try to improve and be prepared.
“The national team is prestigious and it’s good to be here. I’ll try to carve out my space, because I’ve never liked just showing face.
“The choices are up to the boss, but I’ll try to be ready and I always want to play.”
