Juventus have reportedly suspended their interest in Manchester City starlet Phil Foden.

It had been reported that Juve were planning to take advantage of Foden’s expiring contract status, akin to their deal for Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba in 2012.

However, Calciomercato.com claims the Bianconeri do want to ruin their ‘excellent relationship’ with City and ‘show disrespect’ by reserving him two years in advance.

Nonetheless, that would have not stopped the 18-year-old, who has made 10 appearances for Pep Guardiola’s side this season, from ‘looking around and studying proposals’.
