Sevilla’s sporting director reveals Milan are “looking at” André Silva but “no-one can do anything” as they’ll exercise their right to buy.
The Portuguese striker spent one difficult season with the Rossoneri, before being loaned out with a €30m option to buy.
The 23-year-old has seven goals in 11 games so far this season, but he won’t be returning to Italy.
“The fans can rest assured, the player will stay with us with a contract for many seasons,” Joaquin Caparros assured, speaking to Sevilla’s official website.
“We have the will and the opportunity to keep the player here. Milan can say what they want, they’re looking at him again as are many other clubs who want him, but no-one can do anything.
“We have this option to buy and at the end of the season, or even before, we’ll exercise it.”
